A Vision For a Promising Future
The Cross at the Oaks

We invite you to join with us in The Oaks of Righteousness Legacy Project. We are building an outdoor, open-air chapel called “The Cross at the Oaks” with the Founder’s Oaks leading to it.

This space will be amphitheater-style worship site facing the lake with a memorial cross silhouetted by the beautiful sunsets of King’s Camp. It will be used for outdoor worship sessions, teachings and special events. The live oaks leading to “The Cross at the Oaks” will honor King’s Camp’s early founders who stood on faith and dedicated time, resources and lots of prayer to bringing Jesus and adventure to kids from near and far. A monument plaque will display the names of our generous donors.

"They will be called oaks of righteousness,
a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor."
Isaiah 61:3
As part of The Oaks of Righteousness Legacy Project, our King’s Camp family will have the opportunity to recognize a loved one through giving to the project.

When you give the Oaks of Righteousness level or higher, we will plant a live oak in your honor or a loved one’s honor/memory along King’s Camp Drive from The Barn toward main campus.

Will you join us and be part of a lasting memorial at King’s Camp that will also be an unforgettable backdrop for experiencing God’s creation?

Oaks of Righteousness Project in Progress

We've broken ground on our Oaks of Righteousness project. This is a project rooted in themes of Isaiah 61, the scripture that Jesus quoted in his hometown synagogue describing his ministry. We are so very grateful for God's faithfulness and the community of people that are involved in making this a reality...the faith and commitment of our founders and leaders before us; the vision of Nolan Clark to create a space of worship to honor God in their memory; Jay Gillikin and Rimcor Inc for their expertise in construction; Cullen Clark and S.E. Huey Co for their civil engineering consulting and construction plans; architect An Le in her visual renderings; and the many generous people who have donated time, effort and money to this project to honor God and the memory of loved ones....all for the display of His Splendor!
